Welcome to Tom Pearson State Farm! I’ve been proudly working as a State Farm agent for over 10 years. Our office in Richmond is eager to assist customers across the Richmond metropolitan area, including North Chesterfield, Bon Air, Glen Allen, Midlothian, Short Pump, Henrico, Manakin-Sabot, and the entire Commonwealth of Virginia! In addition, our talented team is also licensed to serve customers located in Maryland, West Virginia, and North Carolina.

Originally from the UK, I moved to the U.S. in 2012 after marrying my amazing wife, Emily. My journey to becoming an insurance agent was anything but traditional—I first attended a music college in London and spent years touring Europe as a professional musician. But when I relocated to the U.S., I was inspired to shift careers, choosing State Farm based on a strong family connection—my wife’s grandfather was a State Farm agent and always spoke highly of the company’s impact on people’s lives.

Now, Emily and I call Midlothian home, where we’re raising our three wonderful kids—Felicity (10), Elsie (9), and Kit (6). When I’m not helping our customers protect what matters most, you’ll often find me playing music and serving on our local church’s worship team.

At our agency, we take a holistic approach to insurance and financial services. We don’t just offer policies—we provide a full-service experience. My team and I believe in educating our customers and walking alongside them to ensure their coverage fits their needs today and in the future. That’s why we proactively reach out to all customers at least once a year to review their plans and make sure they’re still on track.
